Down jackets can be washed !? Other and easy home care🏠

Hi everyone 😀

Somehow, it has recently started to feel chilly!

In Japan, the temperature is falling rapidly, and the autumn is getting deeper and winter is getting closer.

 What about the climate overseas?

By the way, this time, I think "I can't wash" and I will write about "Washable" down unexpectedly.

I think some people have already washed them at home, but many people may put down jackets on cleaning.

As stated in the title, basically down can be washed at home.

However, just putting it in a washing machine like other clothes is NG🙅.

As with other clothing, if you wash and spin rattle and dehydrate for a long time, the batting will change, the texture will change, the shape will be lost, and the result will be a tight finish  Is required.

As a washing method, first use a neutral detergent around the neck and cuffs with a toothbrush, etc., and gently rub the dirty parts without applying too much force.

If you use a washing machine, use a neutral detergent, put the down into a small laundry net and immerse it for 2 to 3 minutes in a short time, rinse for 1 to 2 minutes, and wash for about 1 to 2 minutes for dehydration.  You.

In the case of a washing machine, the load of centrifugal force is applied, so it is ideal to wash in a short time so that the batting does not move as much as possible.

If the washing time, including dehydration, is increased, the batting may be twisted or biased, and when dry, the cotton may swell with its shape and batting biased.

To prevent this, wash in a short time if you are washing in a washing machine, and if you do hand washing, first pre-treat the soiled area with a neutral detergent.

Next, collect enough water so that it can be immersed in a washroom.

Add a little neutral detergent to the pooled water, mix well, and slowly gently immerse the down while gently pushing it down.

 Then rinse and lightly squeeze.

Since the water drops, drain some water, put it on a hanger, tap the entire surface lightly from both sides, and wait for it to dry naturally in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.

In this way, it is enough to wash thoroughly

So you can take care of a little dirt at home.
